  Our experience with this housing company was terrible. The properties are poorly maintained due to the fact that they simply do not provide enough staff for the amount of continuous work that needs to be done. We had exposed tacks in the carpet on a constant basis, myself, my husband, and our small children continually injured themselves on them, despite the fact that we asked them to fix it multiple times. The tile in the kitchen is poorly maintained and because of this the grout was breaking off and crumbling is rather big pieces all over my kitchen. My 7 month old baby would pick it up and put it in his mouth and even though I asked them to fix it, it took them over 6 months to finally come in a take care of it. Our side garage door was caught by the wind and broken, needing to be replaced, it took them almost a year to replace it, during this time, there was no way for us to secure that door, we couldn't lock it and be assured that our belongings wouldn't be stolen. The manager, Debra Healy, is a nightmare to deal with. She is rude, condescending, blocked me in my driveway in October of last year, while I was trying to take my sick baby to the hospital, which is almost an hour away, just so she could yell at me about Christmas lights that were up on my house. There is a constant threat of dangerous wildlife coming into the housing area, especially for those houses on the perimeter. We had rattlesnakes in front of our door on at least 5 occasions, not to mention, people who experienced injuries to their pets because of the lack of snake proofing. When it was brought to her attention as a safety concern for the residents, we were told that we could pay to have snake fencing installed but it wasn't their responsibility. Her supervisor was not helpful when I called to make a complaint about her behavior and the treatment of residents and active duty members on Yuma Proving Groubd. The topper to our who experience that truly shows just how inept and incompetent Debra Healy is. She failed to properly do her job when we PCS'd and as a result $1490 were taken out of our account for a house we haven't lived in for 2 months. We were promised that a check would be sent out right away and we have yet to see it. Just a warning for you, she is a nightmare to deal with when you are a resident and she doesn't know how to do her job correctly nor does she care how her actions affect other people.
